The Program

The Summer University Theatre Experience  is a two-week program designed for Rising Seniors, Juniors, Sophomore and Gap-Year to give them the opportunity to work with the top Acting and Musical Theatre University Faculty selected from the best University Training programs in the US. This two-week Los Angeles program is designed for students to hone their craft as they learn about the different styles of teaching and programs in preparation for their upcoming College Auditions.

SUTE 2025 will be located on the Loyola Marymount University Campus. Dates are June 14th - June 27th, 2025.

The gorgeous campus of LMU is located on the Westside of Los Angeles, minutes from the beach and in a very safe neighborhood. It is a Westside hideaway, next to Marina Del Rey, Playa Vista, Playa Del Rey, very close to LAX and is surrounded by local art, restaurants and local gems. Optional Campus Room and Board is offered.

2025 Faculty

All the Faculty at SUTE are or have been Auditors for their programs. They have had thousands of students audition for them. They understand what it takes to give a fabulous audition and it's a great chance for them to get to know you.

Acting Track

Understanding text analysis, how to relate to your Scene Partner, Objectives, Obstacles, Improvisation, Story-Telling, Movement, Voice - this is just a small portion of what you will learn in the Acting Track.

MT Track & SUTE UP MT Track

Finding the Right Songs, having the Right Cuts, how to Mark Your Music, Acting Techniques, Dance - this is just a small portion of what you will learn in the Musical Theatre Track.
